Yes "Magnification"

I also bought Yes "Magnification", because it was cheap. It was a tremendous fault not having bought it when it was out in 2001. I think it was not released in Brazil very recently also.

Anyway, take Yes, replace the keyboards for an orchestra and then you have it.

Slightly proggier than the proggiest songs on "The Ladder", one hardly will miss keys. Ok, I am big fan of Rick Wakeman, Moraz and Tony Kaye, but I  would not miss them here for sure.

The old dudes are doing things for fun man, this is what is comes out from listening this album. It should not be fantastic, but it is.

Allan White is a tremendous great drummer. He had the bad luck of having to replace BILL "DAMAN" BRUFORD.  Should I had to choose a favorite drummer that would be Allan. Technically, Bruford might be better, but Allan White is such a cool guy doing his best with Yes.

I hardly pay attention to their lyrics lately.  But Jon's voice is as always terrific. Squire is a little in the corner, but does lead vocals on a song here. Steve Howe shines over all the record.

It seems that Jon Anderson had health troubles and the guys just decided to put a new guy in his place. Honestly I have given up of morally judging my heroes ( well unless they rape, kill, or worse :-)).
